Long Banga, My Home Village

Long Banga is my home village located in north eastern of Sarawak, Malaysia. Close to the international border Batu Kallong between Kalimantan and Sarawak. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, this isolated place can be reached by the small airplane like the DHC-6 Twin Otter and helicopter. And not to mention back in the 1970s and early 1980s, by river was the common route. Now, it is also accessible by timber or logging road.

The name of "Long Banga" itself was originated from a small river which found somewhere near the village before it was setup.
